We started out as colleagues at an agricultural mechanisation company, in 2009. About six years later, we decided on a joined hobby and bought a Volkswagen Transport 2 old-timer to fix up and sell again. After the VW, we bought a Toyota Land Cruiser. This was primarily Gerry’s passion at first, but Henry caught the bug too, and that’s how we started our company Hengers Classic Cars. In just 5 years time, we became the specialist in buying and selling Land Cruiser old-timers.

In 2020, Henry quit his old job and by the end of 2021, Gerry followed. Together, we looked to expand the business, with specialisation being a key driving factor. Becoming the official Steketee / Lemken dealer for North-East Netherlands satisfied our ambition. The simplicity and quality of Steketee really appealed to us. This is how our operations grew a second branch: Hengers Agro. Over the past weeding seasons, we have been able to become fully specialised in this technology.
