Protect your crop with the spray hoods from Steketee
Spraying on or between the crop rows is done with the spray hoods from Steketee . The well-developed system can save up to 80% of spraying agent. In addition, stunted growth in the crop can be prevented, because they do not come into contact with the spraying agents.
The hood sprayer, or also called row sprayer , passes between crop rows. A substance is sprayed into the spray hood to control the weeds.
In our webshop you can find two different types of spray hoods:
MS2 Spray Caps
The MS2 spray hoods are the most well-known spray hoods, which are mainly known from beet, onion and carrot cultivation. There are two types of MS2 spray hoods, namely:- The entry model
- The more luxurious model, equipped with flaps with hinges
These two spray hoods work the same, and can both be mounted on a basic element.
The entry-level model:
The entry-level model of the MS2 sprayer is the set hood. This hood is available in 3 sizes:
The width can be adjusted by 5 to 10 cm to the correct size by means of a screw thread at the bottom.
The MS spray hood is equipped with an Airmix 110-03 nozzle, which is mounted on a nozzle holder and is adjustable in height. Due to the height adjustment, the correct spray pattern can be achieved.
The entry-level model is open at the front, with a plastic flap at the rear that ensures that the agent remains in the spray hood.
The more luxurious model:
The more luxurious model MS2 spray hood is equipped with flaps with hinges. These valves can be adjusted at the top of the hood with a threaded spindle. This works faster and easier than with the entry-level model.

This MS spray hood is also equipped with an Airmix 110-03 nozzle, which is mounted on an equal nozzle holder and is also adjustable in height. Due to the height adjustment, the correct spray pattern can be achieved.
The more luxurious model is open at the front, with a plastic flap at the rear that ensures that the agent remains in the spray hood. The spray hood contains steel wear strips at the bottom. This is to give the spray hood a longer life on heavier soils. You can also turn it over again, so that both sides can be used to wear out.
EC Spray Underleaf
The EC spray underleaf is suitable for crops grown on ridges, such as potatoes and peonies.
This spray hood is mounted on a moving arm, so that it can follow the row well. The working width is adjustable from 75 to 90 cm. In the webshop we have it with a swivel piece for 80x80, but we can also supply it with a Basic element.
The EC spray underleaf is also equipped with an Airmix 110-03 nozzle, which is mounted on a nozzle holder and is adjustable in height. This allows the correct spray pattern to be achieved.
